Petting zoos are not exclusively for kids; everyone will delight in interacting with our engaging animals. Adding a petting zoo to your National Nursing Home Week or any planned activity is an excellent idea.
Chamberlin has been delivering exceptional animal entertainment to seniors in Michigan since our establishment in 2000, and we are pleased to provide references. Some facilities prefer a small, indoor petting zoo as an interactive experience that can add vibrancy to the winter months. Others opt for the petting zoo, pony rides, or easy-entry mini-horse cart rides (holding 350 pounds) for an outdoor adventure that seniors can enjoy with their families.

Popular Senior Event Services
Complete Party Package
Our most popular senior facility packages include two hand-led ponies (or horses) to ride and a 10-12 animal petting zoo with food for the animals, face painting & balloon twisting.
You may sell the grain and keep the proceeds
You may substitute the face painting & balloons for an additional pony for back or cart rides. Pony carts are fun and we can accommodate about 40-50 children each hour with a cart.
Complete Petting Zoo Package
Includes alpaca or llama, calf, donkey or miniature horse, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens & bunnies. Children and adults get to feed the animals!
Small Petting Farm Package
Includes goats, sheep, ducks, chickens & bunnies. Children and adults get to feed the animals!
Zootopia
If your looking for a way to bring smiles to your senior's faces, this affordable package is a great way to brighten their day. It includes 6-8 small animals that may easily be set up inside on tarps or outside.
Limited time special: We will include Twisty Balloons (upon availability)
All of our packages include; a professional bubble machine, music, lawn games, tent (heated if needed)
We recommend you book this package for one hour unless guests are arriving at different times or you are expecting more than 20 children.

Westlake Health Camus in Commerce, Michigan celebrated the Kentucky Derby with a beautiful horse from Chamberlain. She was gentle and residents were able to pet her and feed her. She even came into some resident's rooms to spread some cheer. Her owner Melisa was most accommodating, and fun was had by all! We will see you again next year!

We hired Chamberlin to come to our assisted living facility for Grandparents Day. Booking was easy. The price was just right. Everything was perfect. We got the Labadie's as our Event Managers both Melissa and Bryan were easy and wonderful to work with. The animals were clean and adorable. Our residents really enjoyed everything. It was a great event. I will definitely hire them again. Thank you for a such a lovely afternoon. The bubble machine was also a huge hit with our residents and their grandchildren.
